Where Souls are Spent
Adrian Cross just waneted to live a normal life. One day, he wakes up in a place he can't quite recognize. He's in Hell. Actual Hell. After a series of trials, he disccoveres that he's trapped inside of a twenty floor dungeon with over 1.8 million other condemned souls. If he wants to make it back to life and continue living, he'll need to break out. Simple enough, right? Not even close. The dungeon is a complete nightmare, one that couldn't even be dreamt by the devil himself. There's a sarcastic AI that treats human suffering like a reality show, bosses capable of wiping out enire armies by themselves, monkeys with wings, giant demons, and a crown that traps dead souls that guide Adrian through his journey. Now Adrian has to survive alongside a few others. A man named Lucien, Wu Zhang, a Dungeon Guide from the Ming Dynasty who can't read a damn room, and whoever else manages to stay alive long enough to matter. Every floor gets more dangerous. Every boss gets more dangerous. And the deeper Adrian travels into the dungeon, the more of himself he loses. Can Adrian survive and break through the dungeon without losing all that makes him human? Without losing his soul?
